Plastic Magnitudes // Presentation of Residency

We’re bubbling for JD Whitman’s presentation this Friday 31st March, on occasion of her second week of residency @ JRC.

Together with researchers Andrea Valsesia, Dora Mehn, Jessica Ponti, Marisa Sarria Pereira De Passos from the micro and nanoplastic research groups @ JRC, they will be giving insights into their ongoing collaboration and development of the project Plastic Magnitudes.

The artist is proposing a large scale, community-specific installation that leverages on citizen action and engagement for the collection of plastics to create an immersive installation which raises awareness of our agency and responsibility when dealing with plastic pollution.

The presentation will take place Fri 31/03 at 11AM CET at the JRC Ispra. It will be hybrid in format and Webex attendance will be possible. We welcome you to attend in person to meet JD, discuss and pose any burning questions.
