The Resonances IV SciArt Summer School took place from the 20th-24th June 2022, JRC Ispra site.

Guided by the curatorial statement on NaturArchy, developed by JRC SciArt, we fostered and developed transdisciplinary exchanges, discourses, visions and narratives for subscribed participants.

For five days, we explored, connected, questioned assumptions and biases, and re-imagined our relationship with nature and the non-human.

The starting point? The science-for-policy developed at the JRC.

The Summer School was the first occasion to meet the 20 acclaimed Artists selected from the Open Call (published Dec 2021, closed Feb 2022) to the JRC Ispra site, and allow them to interact with cutting-edge scientific research and public policy discussions.

Interested JRC researchers, European Commission policymakers and staff members could openly attend conferences, take in and share knowledge.

The overall aim is to create science-art-policy collaborations and co-produce artworks that raise questions, challenge perceptions and widen awareness on the EU Green Deal.
