The theatre and science initiative kick-started by JRC SciArt in 2021 in collaboration with the Parola di Donna festival in Varese, Feeling Science, was once again performed in Théâtre des Variétés, Monte Carlo, on October 20th 2023, with support by the Italian Embassy in Monaco and introduction by the Italian Ambassador to Monte Carlo.
The play was received with enthusiasm by the audience, warranting responses such as: "These actresses are very good, but I would like to meet the researchers themselves”. The play was covered by Radio Monte Carlo at the following link Venerdì - Due Come Noi - Radio Monte Carlo (minute 27’).
The performance was one of a series of cultural events organized in Monaco, in the context of the Week for the Italian Language in the World. In the context of their visit the eight scientists were fully immersed in transdisciplinary discussions and meetings, with two of them taking part in the International Conference on the Global Virus Network.
This was the fourth performance of the play after the highly acclaimed, by press and audience, shows in Varese and Lugano in 2022.
