STUDIOTOPIA group visits JRC Ispra on 19/02/2025 through partnership with MEET Milano
JRC SciArt is excited to kick off a collaboration with MEET – Digital Culture Centre Milano - the Italian organization supporting digital culture and creative technology. We will be embarking on new ventures together with MEET so stay tuned for events and showcasings in Milan and beyond!
Up first, On the 19th February 2025 we will be welcoming professionals from the cultural and management world – curators, artists, cultural operators for a day of conferences and discussions on the theme of art-science collaborations and their implementation in institutions such as JRC, to take in and share best practices.
Conversations promise to be interesting as JRC SciAr, last year, and the Studiotopia programme now have been exploring the role of transdisciplinary interactions and productions when working with closely related themes in support of sustainibility and environmental change: NaturArchy for SciArt, and Symbiocene for Studiotopia.
Introductory sessions about JRC and JRC SciArt will be followed by the presentation of new ethnological research conducted here on the JRC site on the power of art-science for innovation beyond growth by visiting scientist Dr. Sofia Greaves. As well as critical assessments of the implementation of art-science programs within institutions.
