Check out upcoming talks below.

About Leonardo/ISAST LASER Talks:

A program of international gatherings that bring artists, scientists, humanists and technologists together for informal presentations, performances and conversations with the wider public. The mission of LASER is to encourage contribution to the cultural environment of a region by fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and opportunities for community building to over 50 cities and 5 continents worldwide.

On NaturArchy: art, science and rights of nature | 23/02/2024

This talk will discuss NaturArchy- the theme of the upcoming exhibition of the JRC SciArt project – from an artistic, philosophical and governance point of view. The provocation at the heart of NaturArchy is that we must extend Rousseau’s social contract to nature if we really want to be successful in the fight against environmental degradation, extractivist practices, and socio-environmental injustice.
